Template: forcewhitespace -- adds a large block of whitespace to a page.

This is used at the end of pages to improve displaying a link to a subheading. If a subheading is near the bottom of a page, hyperlinking to it may result in the subheading not appearing at the top of the browser window, which has sometimes confused users. Adding extra whitespace to the bottom of a page ensures that the subheading will always end up near the top.
(This is most often used in pages destined for the Support Wiki.)

  • This is usually placed at the bottom of a page's wikitext, just above the Category links.
