Introduction

Remote Desktop Protocol(RDP) Client allows user to connect to a system remotely. This session container allows user to remotely connect to system (Windows) using xfreerdp service. For more information, visit xfreerdp manuals.



Station Mapping: Creating a RDP Client

Station Mapping allows you to bind a specific station to RDP Client. To create this session container:

  1. Click on "New Session Container". Use the drop-down menu to select "RDP Client" as the session container type and give a name

  3. Enter the IP Address and credentials of the system (server) to be accessed remotely
  4. Click "OK" to complete the process

  5. Map Stations to Remote Desktop Protocol Client

    Once session container is created, stations can be "mapped" or assigned by simply dragging-and-dropping the station icons to the Remote Desktop Client session. To change the configuration (for example, to change the credentials), click on the session container name to open the "Edit Session Container" window.

    Please note: Audio and USB pass through capabilities are not supported with RDP Client.
