Introduction

This section of Control Center lets administrators create and execute events in a designated order at a set time.

To access this functionality open Control Center > Events.


The supported event types are:

  • Load Preset
  • Power Save Displays
  • Wake up Displays
  • Power Off Server
  • Start Source
  • Show Message
  • Play Zone
  • Stop Zone

How To Create and Schedule Events

Events Screen
  1. Open Control center > Events
  2. Click on +Add Event
  3. Select an event type from the drop-down menu
  4. Configure the selected event
  5. Configure the event's schedule as per the requirement


Event Types

This section provides the brief description of the supported event types and the specific set of actions that can be performed for an event.

Events

Load Preset

This event loads the selected preset already created under Control Center > Mapping .

Power Save Displays

This events ensures that the selected displays enter the power save mode.

Wake Up Displays

This events ensures that the selected displays exit the power save mode.

Power Off Server

This event shuts down the server as per the configured schedule.

Start Source

This event plays the content of the selected source on selected displays.

Show Message

This event ensures that a user specified message displays across the selected displays.

Play Zone

This event ensures that the selected source plays on the selected video wall zone.

Stop Zone

This event ensures that selected video wall zone stops playing the source content.

Once the event is configured various actions can be performed corresponding to that event like Play event, Suspend event, Hide/Unhide the event in the Event Switcher and Delete event.
