How to Install Userful Multiplier™ on Ubuntu Systems

Installation

Since Userful Multiplier™ is available from the Ubuntu Multiverse repository, Ubuntu users can easily install Userful Multiplier with the Add/Remove tool. This is the easiest way for Ubuntu users to install Userful Multiplier.

Please note, if you wish to manually install, or if you are worried the multiverse package may not be the latest release of our software, you can check our download page.

Supported Ubuntu Versions:

• 7.10(Gutsy)
• 8.04(Hardy)
• 8.10(Intrepid)

Instructions:

1. 

   

   Starting the Add/Remove tool.
   First of all, launch the Add/Remove tool from the Application menu.
   
2. 

   

   Finding Userful Multiplier.
   In the Add/Remove tool's Show combobox, select All available applications
3. Type in multiplier in the Search field.
4. Check Userful in the Application list.
5. Click on the Apply Changes button.
   
6. 

   

   Confirmation dialog.
   The system will ask to confirm the action. Click Apply to download and install Userful Multiplier.
7. After installation is complete, reboot the computer.
8. Userful Multiplier should be usable after the system restarts.

Purchasing Multistation Hardware

Userful Multiplier supports most off-the-shelf hardware (video cards, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.).

Userful also offers a Starter Kit bundle that includes a multi-head video card and USB keyboards and mice. Depending on your motherboard and case, this kit may work nicely for quickly turning your computer into a multistation machine.

Getting a License Key

The software will operate in trial mode until you get a license key:

• For personal use (max 2 users): If you want to use the product for personal home use you can get a free 2-User license key.
• For commercial use or more than 2 users: You can purchase license keys through our online store.

Installing the License Key

Follow the instructions to obtain, retrieve, and install a license key
