How to Install Desktop Multiplier on Ubuntu 7.10

Installation

Since Userful Desktop Multiplier™ is available from the Ubuntu 7.10 Multiverse repository, Ubuntu 7.10 users can easily install Desktop Multiplier with the Add/Remove tool. This is the easiest way for Ubuntu users to install Desktop Multiplier.

Please note, if you wish to manually install, or if you are worried the multiverse package may not be the latest release of our software, you can you can check our download page.

Instructions:

  1. Starting the Add/Remove tool.

    First of all, launch the Add/Remove tool from the Application menu.
  2. Finding Desktop Multiplier.

    In the Add/Remove tool's Show combobox, select All available applications
  3. Type in multiplier in the Search field.
  4. Check Userful in the Application list.
  5. Click on the Apply Changes button.
  6. Confirmation dialog.

    The system will ask to confirm the action. Click Apply to download and install Desktop Multiplier.
  7. After installation is complete, reboot the computer.
  8. Desktop Multiplier should be usable after the system restarts.

Desktop Multiplier supports most off-the-shelf hardware (video cards, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.).
