Why is my DiscoverStation 4/5 not loading Hotmail in Firefox correctly?

On Wednesday, July 9th, 2008, Hotmail changed its interface and the requirements of what is needed to make it run. Unfortunately, this entailed no longer supporting Firefox 1.5, the browser that is supplied with DiscoverStation 5. Some of the items that are known to not work are the reply button, the forward button, and the ability to open attachments. The only fix to these problems are to upgrade to Userful Desktop. If you would like details on how to upgrade to Userful Desktop, simply email support@userful.com. The upgrade is free (as always).

Note that this issue has not affected any of the other major mail services (such as Yahoo Mail or GMail), just Hotmail.

Userful Desktop is still getting the "upgrade browser" error screen

This problem has been fixed in Userful Desktop version 291, which has already been released. If you are still experiencing this error, contact support@userful.com.
