Userful Multiplatform™ can function as a thinclient for the VMWare View protocol. This profile enables user to setup VMWare View access within the same desktop environment. This feature enables user to launch full-screen VMWare View sessions on one or more stations directly from Control Center.

Station Mapping: Creating a VMWare Profile

Creating VMWare Profile

To create a VMWare profile:

  1. Click "New Profile" under Station Mapping and enter profile name.
  2. Select profile type as "VMWare View Open Client" from the drop-down list.
  3. Enter Server URL, username and password. (username and password fields are optional).
  4. Click "Ok" button.

Map Stations to VMWare Profile

Once profile is created, stations can be "mapped" or assigned to profile by simply dragging-and-dropping the station icons to the profile. The changes will take place after hitting "Apply" button.

To change the profile configuration, click on the profile name to open the "Edit Profile" window.
