Q: How do I turn on Flash content?

  • Why is Flash content not appearing?

A: Tell your Session Profile not to block it.

If you cannot see Flash content in your Web browser, then it may be that Flash content is set to be blocked by the Session Profile. To change this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Userful Manager.
  2. Click on Session Profiles & Timing.
  3. Find the appropriate Session Profile and click on its name to edit it.
  4. Scroll down to the Advanced Browser Settings section and find the Block Flash Content field.
  5. Make sure that No is selected.
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Save.
  7. Go to Userful Manager > My Computers.
  8. Click on the Apply Configuration checkboxes next to the appropriate computers.
  9. Click on the Apply Configuration button to build the configuration packages.
  10. Wait until the configuration packages are created.
  11. Go to a computer that need the new configuration, and use Ctrl-Alt-U to update the configuration on one station. (You do not need to start a session to do this.)
  12. Wait until the update is finished.
  13. Start a session on the station and verify that Flash content is displaying.
