Remote Control Settings

Userful™ software appliance lists down various features like Source Switcher, Preset Switcher and Interactive Viewer under Remote Control Settings that can be used to remotely control and interact with stand-alone displays and video walls.

These features are available under Settings > Remote Control Settings.

Note: Appropriate license tier or Advanced Subscription is required to access these features, please contact your Sales Representative or send an email to sales@userful.com for more details.


Source Switcher

Remote Control Settings

Source Switcher is available under all licensing tiers except Basic. It allows a user to launch and switch source on displays and video walls using a single-click, it can be accessed from any web browser within the same network using any device including smartphones and tablets.

Preset Switcher

Preset Switcher is available only under under "Ultimate" license or "Advanced Subscription". It allows a user to launch and switch between the saved preset (i.e., display mapping configuration) using a single-click, it can be accessed from any web browser within the same network using any device including smartphones and tablets.

Interactive Viewer

Interactive Viewer is available only under "Ultimate" license or "Advanced Subscription". It allows a user to remotely interact with standalone displays or video walls playing Interactive sources (e.g., Web Browser, Linux Desktop, Cloud Desktop etc.), via keyboard and mouse of a different computer such as Userful host, connected display or any device in the same local area network.
